Waikato Primary Rural Health Scholarships
Background
Scholarships are aimed at supporting the recruitment and retention of primary health care professionals from rural Waikato communities.
Eligibility
It is a requirement of the Scholarship that the scholar agrees to work in primary care in a rural community within the Waikato region upon completion of the programme of study. To this end a contract will be drawn up bonding the student to work in a rural community for a minimum of 12 months. Applications open 1st January 2010.
Value
Scholarships for undergraduate studies of up to $10,000.00 are available
Scholarships for post-graduate of up to $15,000.00
Actual funds will be dependant on selection criteria and programmes of study undertaken.

Applications close noon 19th March 2010.
