Tempo Fashion Design Scholarship
Background
The “Tempo” Fashion Design Scholarship was established in 2010 by the Waikato Times and Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec). The first Scholarship will be awarded in 2011.
The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist a first year, full-time student enrolling in the Diploma in Fashion Design and Practice (Level 6) in the School of Media Arts, Wintec. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, personal character and commitment and potential to succeed in the fashion industry.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this Scholarship, students will have to meet the prescribed entry criteria to the Diploma in Fashion Design and Practice (Level 6) and must have applied and been accepted, or have received and be subject to meeting the requirements of a conditional offer of place, to enrol in the first semester, in full-time study, by 10th January 2011.
No application forms for the scholarship will be required; eligibility will be automatically assessed as part of the programme entry interview conducted by the Programme Manager unless specified otherwise by the applicant.
