Background

Scholarship opportunties are available for eligible secondary students attending schools in Solid Energy's local mining communities.

Eligibility

Scholarships are offered to senior high school students who wish to pursue academic careers to a tertiary level. Solid Energy do have favoured courses of study that they consider.

Two scholarships are shared between the following Waikato schools as below: Huntly College, Te Wharekura O Rakumangamanga, Te Kauwhata College, Ngaruawahia High School, Hillcrest High School, Hamilton Girls High School, Hamilton Boys High School, Hamilton's Fraser High School, Fairfield College, St Johns College, Sacred Heart Girls College, St Paul's Collegiate School, Waikato Diocesan School for Girls.

Value

$2000.00 per year for up to four years of tertiary study
