KiwiRail and ONTRACK Undergraduate Scholarship

Background

These awards are provided by Toll NZ and administered by the NZVCC. There are 10 Scholarships available across New Zealand.

Eligibility

Applicants must be children of permanent Toll NZ employees (as at 1 December in the year of application) and should be enrolling or enrolled in their first undergraduate degree or diploma at a university or polytechnic or college of education.

In making the award, the Selection Committee shall have regard not only to the academic ability of the applicant as evidenced by their performance in school examinations, but also to other factors such as character, qualities of leadership and contribution to cultural and/or sporting activities.

Value

The value of each scholarship shall be $2000, and each scholarship shall be tenable for one year.

Scholars may re-apply for a second or subsequent award. However, priority will be given to those applicants applying for the first time.
