Hospitality Career Scholarships Programme

Background

The Hospitality Standards Institute (HSI) is offering scholarships for industry employees, managers, students, tutors/teachers, assessors and employees. The scholarships are aimed at people who want to develop their hospitality career through further training.

Eligibility

Workplace Employee Scholarship: Open to all employees currently employed in a hospitality outlet.

Outward Bound Leadership Scholarship: For supervisory or management employees in a hospitality environment.

Future Star Scholarship: For School students in Year 12/13 who intend to pursue a career in hospitality in either cookery or food & beverage.

Hospitality Tutor/Assessor Scholarship: Open to any teacher, tutor or assessor teaching and assessing in the field of hospitality.

Value

Workplace Employee Scholarship: $5,000 plus GST

Outward Bound Leadership Scholarship: $3,825 (includes GST) plus return travel to Picton

Future Star Scholarship: $3,000 plus GST (all fees) plus chef jacket/apron, and knife set/bar set (dependent on pathway selected)

Hospitality Tutor/Assessor Scholarship: $2,500 plus GST
