Hicks Trust Scholarship
Background
The Hick’s Scholarship will be open for application to ALL second and third year, full time Wintec Students who are studying in 2012.
The scholarship will be utilised to promote all forms of farming in New Zealand. Applicants must be undertaking or proposing to undertake research in New Zealand into matters concerning the objects of the trust.
The criteria will be that the applicant must be able to provide evidence and satisfy the scholarship selection panel that their future research and / or projects in their upcoming year of study will benefit the farming industry or rural community in the foreseeable future. There will be one scholarship of $5,000 available to the selected student and the funds will be granted in two instalments, an amount of $2,500 after completing 10% of their first semester and the further $2,500 at the beginning of their second semester of study.

2nd and 3rd year students, studing full time at Wintec. NZ citizens or permanent residents
