Barry Coombes Engineering Scholarship

Background

The Scholarship was established in 2006 by the Perry Foundation in recognition of the valued work of founding and long-serving Trustee, Barry Coombes.

Eligibility

The Scholarship is open to students who enrol full-time at the Waikato Institute of Technology in their first year of study in the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil) (Level 6) and the Bachelor of Engineering Technology. The Selection Panel will award the Scholarships on the basis of academic merit, involvement in community life and commitment to the engineering industry.

Value

Two Scholarships will be offered. Each Scholarship is to the value of $2,500.00 and will be for a maximum of one year
