Options for funding your postgraduate nursing studies
If you have missed out on CTA funding this year but would like to continue with your postgraduate nursing studies, there are several other funding options available to you:
- There is a wide variety of scholarships available to students wanting to do postgraduate nursing studies. Have a look at the latest scholarship flyer or search by area; there are several scholarship areas that might be of interest to you.
- You might qualify for limited full-time status through StudyLink, by enrolling in two modules in 2010. Postgraduate nursing study is offered part time for students to be able to fulfil their work commitments.

NUPCD24 Advanced Diabetes Nursing Practise Workshops
Due to the Annual Scientific Meeting of the New Zealand Society for the Study of Diabetes (NZSSD) being held in Hamilton from 21 to 23 April 2010, we decided to adjust the NUPCD24 workshop dates accordingly. The new workshop dates are:
- 17, 18, 19 February
- 14, 15, 16 April
- 12, 13, 14 May

Annual Scientific Meeting and AGM of the NZ Society for the Study of Diabetes
21st to 23rd April 2010
To be held at the Kingsgate Hotel in Hamilton on 21st to 23rd April 2010. This is the premier meeting, rotating around the country, with invited international and national experts giving Plenary sessions and focussed topic reviews. There are also scientific presentations by clinicians and basic scientists in oral and poster fora.
The Diabetes Nurses Group, the Dietitians’ Special Interest Group, registrar and podiatrists' groups meetings will be held 20 April, i.e. at the begining of the Annual Scientific Meeting.

Creative Industries Conference 2010
6 - 8 December 2010
Practitioners, academics and researchers who work in the creative industries are invited to participate in the inaugural Creative Industries Conference 2010 at AUT University, Auckland, Aotearoa/New Zealand.
