RAMP Gallery presents: ENLISTED

For the first time this year RAMP Gallery is opening its’ doors to showcase selected works by the people that keep it going.

So far this year, fifteen Wintec Visual Arts students have dedicated their time and effort into assisting with the running of RAMP Gallery.

Ramp Gallery Curator and Painting and Sculpture Programme Manager Tim Croucher says that this exhibition is about giving these up-and-coming artists a chance to be on the other side of the gallery operations.

“We are holding ‘Enlisted’ as a way to thank our RAMP volunteers. They spend their time watching artists exhibit in this space and now it’s their chance to showcase their own work. The artworks they create are playful, inventive and definitely worth a look”.

The exhibition will run for three weeks from Wednesday 14 September until Wednesday 5 October and can be visited during opening hours; Monday to Friday 12-4pm.

RAMP is tying this exhibition in with the Fringe Festival, which runs from 22 September – 2 October. The gallery will be a part of the Art Trail on Saturday 24 September, with the doors open from 3–5pm.
