Personal Statement

I began at Wintec as a part time graphic design tutor, over 20 years ago.

I have worked as a designer, architect, photographer and graphic designer in New Zealand, London, Spain and Mexico (my homeland).

My Architecture master thesis (Auckland University) was titled: "EcoDesign Education at tertiary level in Aotearoa" (available at Wintec Library).

At present I teach Intermedia, year one design and EcoDesign and EcoAchitecture modules. My research includes mixmedia exhibitions in Aotearoa and overseas and participating in international conferences about Sustainable Design.

Media Arts and The Waikato Institute of Technology also provide wonderful research facilities for both the students and staff.
