Personal Statement

Tim has broad experience in the theory of education, curriculum design and teaching and learning in art, design and media education.

He has undertaken research projects in painting which address the dissolution of distinctions between abstract and representational painting. He exhibits his work in New Zealand and Australia.

The best aspect of the Bachelor of Media Arts is its sound delivery of an Arts education which accounts for the intermedia nature of much contemporary artistic and media practice and discourse.

"Media Arts will equip students with skills, techniques and critical facility relevant to professional life in the arts, and will enable them to translate practical knowledge from one domain to another."
