Personal Statement

Charles worked as a reporter and sub-editor on a large metropolitan daily before a stint as a foreign correspondent in London. For 10 years he taught news writing at South Africa's top journalism school while working as a travel writer, freelance public relations writer, magazine editor, and news agency desk editor.  He has won two teaching excellence awards at Wintec .
