Personal Statement

Audio Engineer and Re-Recording Mixer, Composer and Remixer, Bjorn has around 15 years experience in the music, film and television industries. He started his career working for Norwegian State Broadcaster, NRK, before moving to London and the BBC. Legendary film director Stanley Kubrick noticed his talent during the making of Eyes Wide Shut and he was chosen to edit and mix the film trailer. Bjorn was Sound Supervisor at Showtime for 6 years before heading onto the freelance circuit in London's West End.

Bjorn recently moved to Hamilton from New York, and is currently working on new recording techniques utilising source connect plug-in technology. His new composition will involve Māori and Sami musicians.
