State of the Art Facilities

Media Arts offers state-of-the-art facilities for media production, which are available to students 24 hours per day. Three computer labs house the latest Macintosh computers with all the current imaging and design software. Avid non-linear editing systems and digital video cameras are available for moving image students.

The purpose-built photography facility includes fully-equipped professional lighting studios, plus galleries, specialist darkrooms and digital photography facilities.

The painting/sculpture facility provides individual studio spaces for students, as well as a gallery and collaborative teaching areas.

The commercial music studios feature a ProTools HD3 Accel 192 track recording environment with Control 24 console, post-production and 5.1 DTS surround mixing capabilities, individual Digi002 workstations, with additional recording and rehearsal spaces.

Advertising studies at Wintec now comprises of industry standard practices that cover all aspects brand communication, close working rapport with industry practitioners and practicum modules that deals with real clients.
