General Public
Any member of the public is welcome to come into the Wintec Libraries and browse our collections. You may also photocopy material within the current copyright laws and agreements, but may not borrow material or use the library databases.
Renewing Material
You may renew material through My Details within the Library Catalogue if:
- it has not been recalled or requested by another library user
- it is not a 3 Day Loan item
- the material doesn't have a "Lost" status - that is, it is extremely overdue or has been reported lost
- you have fines less than $5
- the material has not been renewed before
- it is not a Tutor Text
Tutor Texts must be returned to the Library before being reissued. Audit procedures require that they are sighted by library staff each year.
Fines and Fees
All fines and fees are sent to your nominated email address or via text message.
All changes to email and physical addresses must be reported as soon as possible to the Student Enrolment & Information Centre. Failure to do this will not be taken as an excuse for non-receipt of Library correspondence.

Notes:
* Conditions for overnight Course Reserve - you can borrow Course Reserves overnight if you pick them up half an hour before the Library closes, but they must be returned within an hour of the next day the library is open.
** Although we are unable to send out Course Reserves; we can supply you with photocopied sections within current copyright laws and agreements. If you would prefer, we can send out alternative material.
*** Tutor Texts - material that is critical to your teaching and therefore issued to you until the 30th of November of the current year.
