        <br /><em>Returning eBooks</em> - Checkin is automatic after 24 hours. If you have finished with an eBook before 24 hours is up, you can check it in again using your eBook account. This will allow others to use it.

Initially developed by and for the British Library, it is now available as a service for institutions and private collectors around the world.  Turning the Pages allows visitors to virtually 'turn' the pages of manuscripts in a realistic way, using touch-screen technology and interactive animation.<br />&nbsp;</li>
    <li><strong><a href="http://www.enzb.auckland.ac.nz/">Early New Zealand Books</a></strong> (NZ) - The Early New Zealand Books Project has been developed by staff at <a href="http://www.library.auckland.ac.nz/">The University of Auckland Library</a>. It aims to provide the keyword-searchable text of significant books published about New Zealand in the nineteenth century.<br />&nbsp;</li>
    <li><strong><a href="http://coe.sdsu.edu/eet/index.htm">The Encyclopedia of Educational Technology (EET)</a></strong> - A collection of short multimedia articles on a variety of topics related to the fields of instructional design and education and training. The primary audiences for the EET are students and novice to intermediate practitioners in these fields, who need a brief overview as a starting point to further research on specific topics. Authors are graduate students, professors, and others who contribute voluntarily. Articles are short and use multimedia to enrich learning rather than merely decorate the pages.<br />&nbsp;</li>
    <li><strong><a href="http://books.google.com/">Google Book Search</a></strong> - Search the full text of books to find ones that interest you.  Selected viewing of pages is available for copyrighted material.  Public domain or copyright free material is available in fulltext.  The Library can obtain any material for you.     <li><strong><a href="http://www.nzdl.org/cgi-bin/library">The New Zealand Digital Library (NZ)</a></strong> - Web site provides several document collections, including historical documents, humanitarian and development information, computer science technical reports and bibliographies, literary works, and magazines.<br />&nbsp;</li>
    <li><strong><a href="http://www.nzetc.org/">New Zealand Electronic Texts (NZ)</a></strong> - An online archive of New Zealand and Pacific Island texts and heritage materials, which offers an ever expanding set of images and full-text books, manuscripts and journals.<br />&nbsp;</li>
    <li><strong><a href="http://www.gutenberg.org/">Project Gutenberg</a></strong> - The first and largest single collection of free electronic books, or eBooks.  A library of 17000 free ebooks whose copyright has expired in the USA.</li></ul>
