• Grove Art Online - Provides comprehensive, reliable information on all aspects of world art. Web access to the entire text of The Dictionary of Art, ed. Jane Turner (1996, 34 vols.) and The Oxford Companion to Western Art, ed. Hugh Brigstocke (2001). Ongoing additions of new and updated articles and images.
   
• Grove Music Online - Independent, regularly revised with additions version of, The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, second edition, edited by Stanley Sadie and John Tyrell, January 2001, The New Grove Dictionary of Opera (published in print in 1992 and online in 1999) and The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, second edition (2001). Through a partnership with Sibelius notation software, over 500 of Grove's musical examples are now available in sound as well as notated examples.
   
• NetLibrary eBooks - Digital full-text versions of books such as reference works, scholarly monographs, literature and fiction, and 3,400 publicly-accessible titles. The Library offers 146 electronic books on business and related topics. These are provided by netLibrary as part of the Tertiary Alliance Library Group.

    Quick browse - You have 15 minutes to browse without having to check ebooks out.
    Checking out eBooks - Checkout allows you 24 hour exclusive use of the title. Checkout a book by creating your own free account and checkout a book to your account.
    Returning eBooks - Checkin is automatic after 24 hours. If you have finished with an eBook before 24 hours is up, you can check it in again using your eBook account. This will allow others to use it.
    No reserves are available.

• British Library Online Gallery - Turning the Pages is the award-winning interactive program that allows museums and libraries to give members of the public access to precious books while keeping the originals safely under glass. Initially developed by and for the British Library, it is now available as a service for institutions and private collectors around the world. Turning the Pages allows visitors to virtually 'turn' the pages of manuscripts in a realistic way, using touch-screen technology and interactive animation.
   
• Early New Zealand Books (NZ) - The Early New Zealand Books Project has been developed by staff at The University of Auckland Library. It aims to provide the keyword-searchable text of significant books published about New Zealand in the nineteenth century.
   
• The Encyclopedia of Educational Technology (EET) - A collection of short multimedia articles on a variety of topics related to the fields of instructional design and education and training. The primary audiences for the EET are students and novice to intermediate practitioners in these fields, who need a brief overview as a starting point to further research on specific topics. Authors are graduate students, professors, and others who contribute voluntarily. Articles are short and use multimedia to enrich learning rather than merely decorate the pages.
   
• Google Book Search - Search the full text of books to find ones that interest you. Selected viewing of pages is available for copyrighted material. Public domain or copyright free material is available in fulltext. The Library can obtain any material for you. Ask at the Library Information Desk.
   
• Manybooks.net - Free eBooks for your PDA (or iPod).
   
• The New Zealand Digital Library (NZ) - Web site provides several document collections, including historical documents, humanitarian and development information, computer science technical reports and bibliographies, literary works, and magazines.
   
• New Zealand Electronic Texts (NZ) - An online archive of New Zealand and Pacific Island texts and heritage materials, which offers an ever expanding set of images and full-text books, manuscripts and journals.
   
• Project Gutenberg - The first and largest single collection of free electronic books, or eBooks. A library of 17000 free ebooks whose copyright has expired in the USA.
