Visa Renewal on Campus

The New Zealand Immigration Service and Wintec work together to make the student visa and permit renewal application process easier.

This process is called Students Online and can be completed on campus, at Wintec.

By using Students Online, you can avoid queuing at the immigration office. Wintec will also manage the application process for you, and can immediately answer many of the questions you may have.

Students Online processes student permit applications and also allows international visitors to change from work or visitor permits to student visas.

Are you eligible to use Students Online?

• You must be full fee paying foreign student
• You must already have a valid visa or permit and passport
• You must study at or be transferring to study at Wintec

You are not eligible if…

• You do not already hold a visa or permit
• You only hold a limited purpose visa or permit
• You do not meet academic enrolment requirements at Wintec

Using Students Online is easy.

Come and see our friendly staff at the Student Enrolment and Information Centre in A Block on Wintec's City Campus.

We will provide you with the correct application forms and advise you of any additional information you may be required to provide. You can take these forms away and complete them at your leisure.
