The School of Health demonstrates a strong commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and receives national acclaim for the Tihei Mauri Ora Stream, that enables student's that identify as Māori to work alongside academic staff in a culturally safe environment.

Experienced staff and a comprehensive range of clinical experiences with health care practitioners and providers helps you develop a significant range of skills and the ability to apply them in new situations in health care delivery.

The Wintec learning community provides a broad range of support networks on the campus and students working in the clinical practice arena have close contact with Clinical Tutors to support and guide their clinical learning.

Postgraduate Study

We also offer postgraduate study options which provide you with the opportunity to challenge the intellect and build on your skills and professional experience.

The Postgraduate Office has been created to support postgraduate students in their studies and research by providing dedicated resources, advice, news & events. You can find Wintec also has a dedicated Research Office which is the hub of research at Wintec and caters to all researchers, both staff and students.
