Do you want to develop the skills and knowledge for a career in management? Wintec’s Bachelor of Business will provide you with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to advance in this industry.
This Bachelor of Business allows you to specialise in the areas of accounting, marketing or management. You have the option of either a single major or a double major in these areas, and the programme duration varies from three to four years depending on the major chosen. The four year professional accounting pathway satisfies the NZICA requirements for the CA (Chartered Accountant) College.

Career Opportunities
The Bachelor of Business Studies may lead to management positions within the business sector such as accounting, marketing, finance, project management or relationship management. This degree also equips you to continue onto to higher levels of study.
Entry Criteria
- 60 credits at NCEA Level 2 in four subjects, including English, or
- 42 credits at NCEA Level 3 in three subjects, or
- University Entrance, or
- Equivalent qualification
Candidates with English as a second language are required to have an IELTS score of 5.5 or better in the academic module, with at least 5.0 in the written band. Special admission may be granted to candidates aged 20 years or over who do not meet the specified entry requirements. These candidates may be required to demonstrate an ability to successfully complete the programme through a process of an interview and / or assessment.
