Work Experience

Adrian has taught at Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec) in the area accounting, and has contributed to other business teaching areas of, quantitative analysis, mathematics, economics, operations management, and research. Adrian's primary teaching area is in management accounting.

Research & Scholarly Activity

Adrian has been educated in quantitative research and analysis business fields and has now ventured into research using qualitative research. His research interests have included the practices of management accountants, accountants in the media, development of research, and the activities conducted by researchers.

Current professional research interests involve the research process and topic generation of successful researchers, as well as the perception of management accountants' role in practice. An additional interest area has also been in non-profit organisation management.

Adrian is continually writing and presents at a number of national and international conferences annually. Adrian is a member of research committees and enjoys fostering research among colleagues and developing research among students.
