Every effort has been made to ensure the content of this website is correct. The information is subject to a continuous process of review. Wintec (Waikato Institute of Technology) therefore reserves the right to make changes to programme offerings and any other contents. Wintec will not accept liability for any errors or omissions contained on this website nor for any subsequent actions that may arise as a consequence of decisions made based upon its contents. Programmes will only be offered subject to sufficient numbers.
Fees Disclaimer
All fees are valid for the current academic year only, and include the Students’ Association fee and GST but exclude other costs. Fees quoted are also inclusive of a Health and Counseling Levy, which only applies for programmes at Hamilton campuses. Domestic fees stated apply to New Zealand Citizens and Permanent Residents. These fees are approximate and based on a full- time workload for one year unless stated. Your fees will vary according to your individual programme of study. Fees may vary due to changes in law or regulations that are beyond the control of Wintec. Text books and stationery are extra. Some programmes have additional costs. Note that “Extra Costs” quoted are estimated compulsory programme related costs for that programme of study. In some cases New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) fees will apply in addition to those given in this brochure. Please contact the relevant teaching department for full details on your fees. The fee may be reduced for exemptions and in assessment of prior learning. A separate charge of $50.00 per hour applies for assessing applications for exemptions and transfer of credit applications. Note that your full year’s fees must be paid by the start date of your programme, or on the day you enrolled, if after this date. A late payment fee of $100 will apply where fees are not paid by the due date.
